i'm still so pumped about this. it's the first real championship that a team i perennially root for has won. seeing as i am the only phillies fan in utah, i wanted to go riot downtown salt lake by myself, but ultimately decided against it. rather, i had my friends drive me by the delta center (i refuse to call it energy solutions arena. that's lame." where the jazz game had just let out. i just yelled "GO PHILLIES! WORLD CHAMPS! YEAAAHHHHHHH!" at anyone i saw. even though i was basically celebrating all by my lonesome, it was a great night.

it's such a bizarre feeling—this winning it all and not choking. i like it. now i just need the eagles, flyers, and sixers to follow suit. then, i can truly die a happy m(f)an. GO PHILS!
